"Lee Reynolds" is a signature found on thousands of decorative art paintings produced by Vanguard Studios, a California-based art studio that operated from the 1960s through the 1980s.

The actual artist behind the "Lee Reynolds" signature was Lee Reynolds Burr (American, 1936-2017). While Lee Reynolds Burr was the director of Vanguard Studios and oversaw product development, the vast majority of paintings bearing the "Lee Reynolds" signature were not painted by him directly. Instead, they were produced by a team of artists employed by Vanguard Studios, often using a process that involved screen-printed backgrounds and hand-painted details to create mass-produced "original" oil paintings.

These decorative artworks were sold widely in furniture stores, department stores, and to commercial clients like hotels, making art accessible to many American homes during the mid-to-late 20th century.
