Your Donation Makes a Difference

Moving or downsizing and have items you no longer need? Planning a home renovation or is it just time to de-clutter and renew your space? Instead of tossing your household items, donate them to Habitat ReStore and do something good for your community and the environment!

When you donate items to Habitat ReStore, you’re helping Habitat for Humanity GTA achieve its mission to build safe homes for working, lower-income families. You’re also helping the environment by enabling us to recycle perfectly re-usable household items and provide them with a second home, and you will receive a charitable tax receipt for the assessed value of your donation.

DONATION DROP-OFFS

Our Habitat ReStores are always happy to accept your new and gently used items. If you have questions, contact your local ReStore – we love to be able to say “yes” to donations and hate to see anything good go to waste!

  • Donations are accepted during store hours
  • As always, our Habitat ReStores can provide tax receipts for all donations.
  • There are times when we will not be able to accept certain items due to age, condition or available space in store.

DONATION PICK-UPS

For your larger, multi-item donations, you can request a donation pick-up. One of our friendly team of drivers will come to your home to pick up your items and deliver them to one of our local ReStores, where we sell them at assessed value.

What we offer:

  • FREE Curbside Pickup for qualifying donations! Prefer main floor in-house pickup? We offer this service for a $155 fee.
  • Friendly team of drivers
  • Tax receipt for the assessed value of your items
  • Complete the donation form to find out if you qualify!
