Monteaux 6-Light Black and Gold Chandier

This midcentury modern chandelier from the Monteaux Lighting hangs beautifully over dining room and kitchen table areas, or as an accent to living rooms and foyer entryways. The black finish is versatile, and will coordinate easily with a variety of existing interior décor styles. The round 6-light design includes frosted glass globe-shaped shades that are topped with gold metal and enclose each bulb. The globe shades hang from metal support arms in a circular fashion. Various lengths of extension rods are included for an adjustable hanging height, simply add or remove the rods to customize the height. When installing the light bulbs, you should never touch a halogen light bulb with your bare hands. The oils on your fingers and skin can damage the quartz glass which creates a hot spot on the surface of the bulb, and can compromise the integrity of the bulb. Use gloves or clean paper when holding the bulb so that you do not make immediate contact. Also, because these bulbs burn at a high temperature, make sure you let any bulbs you are replacing cool down before removing them.
