JPF 3/4" Judo Profi Backwash Water Filter

JUDO’s PROFI and PROFIMAT series were the first self-cleaning backwash point-of-entry water filtration systems of their kind to receive CSA and NSF 61 approval and certification for domestic potable water supplies in North America. The PROFI allows water to flow and filter through a stainless steel sieve, which traps and retains coarse and fine grain particulates and physical impurities until the backwash is initiated. During backwash, there is NO interruption to the building’s water supply or to the filtration process. Due to the working principals of the patented backwash point- rotation system water continues to be filtered even during a backwash cycle. The PROFI has a Manual (M) backwash operation

Filter housing made of high-grade, polymer-based materials (PN 16), including a quick-mounting device for easy installation in both horizontal and vertical flow directions. Equipped with a clear sight-glass, which allows you to view the filtration, soiling and backwash functions. Filtration through a stainless steel filter, sieve size 100 microns (30-500 micron range options are also available upon request). Manual backwash by rotating top hand wheel. Backwash process using a patented, point-rotation- system with no interruption to the water supply or filtration process. Simultaneous cleaning of the sight-glass during the backwash process. Battery powered (AAAX2) audio backwash reminder alarm (set to 30 day intervals). Threaded connection to ANSI B1.20.1.

Backwash protective filter for cold water application up to max. 30 °C (86 °F), approved to German standards and CSA, NSF 61 approval. For the filtration of all rough and finer physical impurities in the water supply which may lead to pitting and/or other corrosive activities in the piping system and cause disfunctions to control and regulating elements.
