  • Inspired by the romantic 19th-century Victorian Rococo Revival movement, which celebrated ornate, nature-inspired motifs, fluid contours, and dramatic crestwork popular during the mid-to-late 1800s.
  • Hand-carved from rich, dark-stained hardwood (likely mahogany or walnut) featuring an extraordinary openwork crest with three-dimensional blooming roses and leafy sprigs, flanked by elegant cabriole legs on classic brass front casters, padded arm supports, and a serpentine apron.
  • Fully upholstered in a vintage dusty-rose floral tapestry brocade featuring romantic rose clusters over a warm ivory background, meticulously trimmed with self-welt piping.
  • Functions beautifully as a standout accent armchair, library seat, vanity chair, or elegant fireside addition.
  • Condition Assessment: Very good vintage condition with a solid, structurally sound frame; the hand-carved wooden crest remains intact with sharp, deep detail and light surface wear appropriate to age, while the tapestry fabric is remarkably clean, taut, and well-preserved throughout.
  • Dimensions: 25" W x 22" D x 40" H
